NORTHUMBERLAND - The Friends of SUN Home, the auxiliary of SUN Home Health and Hospice, will hold their annual spring luncheon meeting on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Nottingham Village Retirement Center’s Great Room, Northumberland. The cost of the luncheon is $12 per person. The event is open to the public.

Speaker will be Nancy Bartlow, Northumberland County Master Gardener, from the Penn State Cooperative Extension; her topic will be “container planting.”

Community members are also welcome to join the Friends of SUN Home Auxiliary; members serve as community ambassadors for SUN Home Health and Hospice and assist with several fundraisers throughout the year to benefit the organization. The fundraisers include the Holiday Tea and Shopping Spree, a cash raffle, and Bridge luncheons.
