SUN Home Hospice Care Center

The SUN Home Hospice Care Center provides a comfortable alternative for SUN Home Hospice patients who are experiencing issues in pain and symptom control or who are in need of respite care.  This higher level of care can be provided in a more controlled setting, yet still maintain a comfortable, homelike atmosphere.  The unit offers 6 private patient rooms, a family room, meditation room, and kitchen.  During times of crisis, the unit will provide the family with relief from the role of sole caregiver.  The unit is also appropriate for respite stays; for example, if the caregiver will be out of town for a few days or is in need of relief from the role of sole caregiver.   

Overnight accommodations are available for family members to stay with their loved ones.  There are no age or time restrictions for visitation and small pets are always welcome.  Patient care in the unit is provided 24 hours-a-day by a variety of SUN Home Hospice staff members.
